Ashton Old Baths

Paper Films produced a film for award-winning architect practice MCAU, showcasing their innovative transformation of the iconic Ashton Old Baths. This historic building, once falling into disrepair, was reimagined by MCAU into a striking office space that combines world-class facilities with respect for its heritage. Hosted by MCAU’s David Skidmore, the film weaves together beautiful visuals of the building with insightful interviews, highlighting the design process, challenges, and vision behind the project. The challenge was creating a film that was both accessible to the general audience, whilst giving enough in-depth information to satisfy architects and other built space professionals. The result is a compelling portrayal that truly captures the building’s unique character and the creativity that brought it back to life.
